Microcomputer Design Educational Environment City-1 on Verilog HDL and FPGA in 2000

for the junior students in the Department of Computer Engineering,
Faculty of Information Sciences, Hiroshima City University

A video City-1 goes on is introducing the next 2 years (1999-2000) of City-1, which is an educational course held successfully by Ryuichi TAKAHASHI in microcomputer design using field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) for the junior students of the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Information Sciences, Hiroshima City University until 2008.

39 students, out of 49 junior students, in the Department of Computer Engineering, succeeded to complete the entire phases in 14 weeks in 2000.

Operating system(OS)s and computer aided design(CAD) tools had been replaced considering the Y2K problem.

All efforts were terminated on the 21th of July.

We have noticed the effect of showing the heart of the system in 2004.

We've found that the same thing could be done for the pipelining education by using SystemVerilog assertion.
